I just tried to "Run as Administrator" and it crashed to desktop again...

Check gyrene's solution on this thread, there is some more direction under his post. That may help.

it worked for me when i did run as administrator

I just right clicked, "run as administrator" and it worked.

This works. I have to constantly set up "run as adminsitrator" every time I want to run the game, but at least I am in...
