Ballast to keep the nose wheel on the ground.  Perhaps the engines weren't mounted?

Nice pics..... is that of 2010 or 2011? :)

Those old Mig 17s... thought it was a 15 but noted the fences.

Very nice pics.... thanks for posting.

Noted the Boing 787 out of the B-29 right seat.
