The only problem with the last update is that it doesn't make those whining..err I mean posting about the GV changes have pink colored text for their names in game. 

other than that, another forward step for the game.

Just over a decade here, and still loving it!  My wife still can't believe I'm hooked after that long; she's been through DAOC, EQ2, Warhammer, WoW, ect...

Yep...been hanging around since tour 84...wouldn't think of spending the cash anywhere else. Cost me two girlfriends and a small kitten, but hey those are replaceable.  HTC is not.

Also the BBS needs to have a special icon for these ankle humping threads so people who are interested in giving feedback and sharing ideas to this game would not need to waste time in reading these.

Sure, it's a great game. I'm IN before this gets smurfy, as it always does, probably this time in the course of debating HOW great a game it is. Some clown is bound to rip some other clown a new one over some perceived slight or misstatement.

What's up with the .plane 118 thing? I entered it at the command line and got back a little message, the content of which I've forgotten... something about reading (apprehension..? it sure wasn't comprehension).

Been playing 5 years and have never once thought about quitting. Always love it when HTC adds something new or changes something to the game, gives us something new to learn about. :salute

Funny you say that, I was going to make a tongue in-cheek complaint about the new GV system that everyone seems to hate. I was going to say the same thing, something like "Hitech, you still haven't fixed the GV system. I sucked in GV's before the new update, and I still suck with the new WASD setup (Although I prefer it over using a joystick for GV's) therefore, it's broken." :)

All kidding aside, I like to mess around in GV's from time to time, and although I'm still worse than useless in them, it's more fun than having to use the joystick to move your tank.
