Possible Bug?? Or could just be me
« on: May 06, 2011, 06:22:32 AM »
In a T34 last night the gears wouldnt change.  It stayed in first gear and did 10mph.  I tried shift+w and just W.  DR7 and some other guys said on range they had the same problem.  I don't know the veh. they were in.  They did say they could get it to go right by using a and d back to back.  This didn't work for me and I just stopped GVing for the evening.

I posted this on the general forum topic, but I had the same problem last night. For some reason, alt tabbing out of the game, then alt tabbing back in fixes it. It only fixes mine until I have to turn my GV or slow it down, then I have to alt tab out/in again. Kind of annoying but since I don't do GV's much, it's not a huge deal.

any of you guys see this post today?

What could cause this is if your rudder is out of calibration.  Steering input while stopped will cause it to go into a creep mode where it stays in first gear.  Try recalibrating your rudder or if it happens often you may need to increase your rudder deadband.

try the suggestion and see what happens.
