Scary moment

Last summer their was a freighter that caught fire in the engine room! The freighter ended up loosig all Sterring control and ended up slamming into the sandbar in the middle of the river and about 10 feet from hittin the boardwalk! this is after the pushed it out just enough so boats could come in and out if the harbor.

Pah, thats nothing, whilst serving in the Royal Navy, we were going into Maracaibo in Venezuala - navigator got it a bit wrong, we ended up chopping a jetty in 2.....with the visiting dignitaries stranded on the seaward end lol......I got ordered off the signal deck, as I couldn't stand up from laughing so hard.

Sheesh, in that case wont mention the Tug Boat we killed going into Florida - strangely enough, that was his fault lol.....got told off for laughing at that one too.

There is nothing wrong with (except the banana peel on the steps of the Old Folks Home (BAD!) with having a good chortle at the expense of others stupidity.

Just ask Mr Wurzel about his reaction to seeing my explanation of preparing Habenero peppers for use in a hot sauce--and NOT washing my hands BEFORE going to the "loo".   :rofl  :rofl  :rofl  :rofl  :rofl  :rofl

My wife still laughs until her sides ach and she cries remembering that one.  Me, not so much.  :uhoh

Have to admit, I may have a bit of a warped sense of humour. When Rox told me his tale with the habenero peppers, that made me laugh big time - I really should have listened harder, and not picked my nose post chopping chilli's here lol......

Was growing habenjeros in my garden one year.  Had a bonfire... had some manly friends over... had "some" beer... "Bet you won't eat a whole pepper!"...

1. Drooled like a hound dog for an hour
2. eyes, nose, lips... gentleman's area... and any other place I touched burned for a day.
3. Nothing... Repeat, NOTHING, can prevent the burn as it exits the back side...
