Views all stuck
« on: May 18, 2011, 09:51:07 PM »
Not sure if this is a bug but all my head positions in everything are stuck. Can't adjust at all. I tried deleting the .hps file and starting over but that was no dice either.

A clue: I was tryin to set up freetrack this afternoon but couldn't get it to install so I deleted it and figured tomorrow's another day.

This is annoying as hell so thanks for any help. : )

Replying to myself I know but I found the problem. I'd been fiddling with a couple of tracker proggies today and they apparently take over your views whether you're using them or not. Or whether you have them checked or not as I hadn't gotten that far yet! I'd tried Freetrack but couldn't get the program to even run. Installation went OK but it would have a problem starting so I uninstalled it. Tried FacetrackNoIR and at least got the program to run and work with my cam. Seemed the program was taking up too much CPU load for my liking but I thought I'd get back to it tomorrow (today). Been messing with it for a while after logging tonight and it just doesn't seem my box is gonna run this and AH simultaneously. So I uninstalled that. And tried AH. Went to the hangar took a plane to the runway and voila--views can be moved again.

Took many a cannon round in the bedonkadonk tonight not bein about to look behind me very well. Can't have that.

Same happened to me.

I tried TracknoIR and it didn't work, so I uninstalled it. Since then...everytime I run AH, my head mov. are locked.

You have 2 alternatives:

1. In AH press crtl+f5. It will fix the problem.

2. Before runnning A...go to the explorer administrator and stop all the processes which have a relationship with FreeTrack. It will fix the problem.

There should be a third  solution: It is removing completely every file from IR software and fix the problem forever....so you don't need to do 1. or 2. everytime you run AH. But I don't know how to do it.
