I didn't say anything was wrong with our current system. I offered an alternative to help the thread along and I was simply defending my idea.
Landing is overrated.

I too would like to be able to land my sortie when the war is won.

Mach Fly, perhaps you can predict the end -- I can't nor do I care about "the war" -- I'm here for "the fight".

Instant end is okay IF you don't lose perks.

Does that mean the kills I got before the reset are considered landed and points awarded as such?

I have nothing against making it 10 or 15min, I'm just not a big fan of other ideas (no offence to anyone).

I realize that you want your sortis to count but in the worst case scenario (as Lusche said) stay airborne and you wont loose any perks (the whole sorti wont count).

No. In terms of score the sortie just never happened. In your stats, the kills will still show.

Cool, not concerned with score.  Just didn't want to lose what few perks I have.

Thanks for the answer Lusche.
