No I don't think so. Is that shrinking the AH window? [I use the little 'windows' key for that.] If so than yes I may have. I will reboot tonightt and see if it works.

Vox really sounds like we are in a cave some sound better most sound worse to much back ground noise. You can really hear the inconsistency in mic quality from player to player I kinda liked the AM radio sounding vox that was more realistic of the time.

Shuffler,

I am not sure if you read the little message where HTC explains they are "trying" a different codec.  They specifically asked for comments pro or con.  The mic boost addition, was a good option.  I just about broke my computer trying to get my vox up to level so that others would stop complaining prior to the patch.  Since then, others have reported my vox is crystal clear and I too, have noticed a more natural sounding vox from others.  Before vox from others had more bass.  Now, they sound more like talking to someone on a telephone.

May I ask exactly what is wrong with the latest patch for your vox?

Not just for me... but it doesn't work at all.

Worked great before.

Fixed an bug with the rearming pad that caused your weapon selection to get out of sync.

Fixed an issue with appending films in the film viewer.

Good start! Hopefully vox works now and the stu stu stu stutters have stopped.

While the old vox could be hard to hear at times, I know I would prefer that over something with the quality of something like Ventrilo. Our current vox just sounds more authentic.

I think the new stuff sounds compressed a bit. You can hear inflection more but it seems a lot more squashed. Hard to describe, since i dont' know the proper audio terms.

Vox sounds very different.  I dont really care either way.  :noid
The only HO I have every attempted was with a French potato named Miss Francine.  Otherwise I stay away from the HO it makes me very nervous having 20 and 30mm shells whipping by my canopy.

downloaded new patch today. Vox didn't work. PB suggested I use .resetv. That worked. BUT the dB automatic thingy won't activate on my voice menu. Also my brother's won't de-activate.

The new setup was not working for me. Turns out it did not like the input I was using. I had to change it.

I prefer the sound of the old setup. Was consistant across the board. Now some sound like they are in a bathroom/cave. Others too soft.

I do think the mic boost in game may be a plus. That is unless it is what is causing the odd sound now.
