ummmm.....was that a?

Does anyone know why there would be an A-10 flying over my house in roseville CA? Im confused....and he was low....I mean like maybe 2,000 feet.....

Maybe it was a Secret Service A-10, and they heard you were talking on the internet about Bin Laden's body......  :noid

Lol like no joke. I heard the engines cause I have window open....I was like hang on now, thats not a Learjet engine, and when I looked it flew right over the house. 99.9% chance it was a A-10.

A-10 warthog?

military practice i bet, we had them flying over our house all the time when i lived in oklahoma for about 2 years. nothing special.

Yeah but im in Cali.....closest airforce base is Travis and I dont believe they have active military aircraft there. Now they run C130s out of it for coastguard.

I have seen them fly over my house in pairs. They are awesome as they come in low, very quiet until directly over you.
I believe it is National Guard maneuvers in my area on east coast.

speaking of weird things, Anyone living in Ohio seen alot of military helicopters lately?


i live in Clermont county, and last week it was nonstop air traffic over my house.

i counted blackhawks, apaches, cobras, what looked like some chinooks, and w.e heli the marines use as a transport.


we usually dont get that kind of traffic. so it was pretty odd  :headscratch:

Don't see many planes fly around here anymore, I remember during my last year of middle there were always helicopters flying over, If I recall there isn't a base to far away from where I live, but back to my point I don't see anything like that anymore, the skies are almost always quiet. :noid:

Ok so it just flew over 2 more times, went back the way it came, then back the way it was going before. And a C130 Coastguard just flew over the house about 10 min ago. Maybe they are doing some kind of drill?

There's a National Guard base fairly close to me, and an Airport, so we have A-10s flying around occasionally, and military helicopters and transports all the time.
