My son Andrew had Jimmy Page, Muddy Waters and Robert Johnson posters on his wall.

Best guitar player in my mind?  My son Andrew.   Guess it's a matter of perspective :)

Van Halen really should stick to studio playing.  Live he is just a challenge to try and comprehend if what he is doing makes any musical sense.  He has always played that way, especially once he gets warmed up.  Its like WTF is he playing?

Best guitarist imo?  Too many to even attempt to count.

no one for page but me?  :O :O :O

Oh no Page is by far my favorite :aok

but this question can not be answered for there are way to many great guitarists out there.

Angus young certainly wouldn't be in the top 50 (maybe top 500) hmmm.....no not even that :rofl

hehe I read it within a week of it coming out. 1987 if my memory serves me right :headscratch:

I am the biggest Led Zeppelin fan ever :D

seriously though I remember being around 5 years old and my older brother working out listening to Zepp...he was my hero, he died when I was 10, he was 14.
and I think because he loved them so much,  I held on to them and became insanely obsessed with them...I have literally got into fights over them  :lol (when I was younger)

I'm Gonna Crawl...WoW what a song.

I tried to get a copy in ?89 and it was out of print already, same again when I tried in the 90s ... finally got a copy about 4yrs ago :aok

I got to work with richard cole for a couple of weeks in about '95, didnt seem any crazier than any other guy who been on the road for 20yrs :D I had no idea it was him, just didnt put it together at the time (I'd been working 60h+ weeks for a month before he arrived so was a bit fried) its only after we left that someone told me. cant believe I was drinking with him several times and didnt know to ask about touring with led zep! :bhead :bhead

Most of you probably never heard of the Del Castillo brothers. Mark and Rick are among the best of the current generation.... Better if you enjoy Tex-Mex Latin rock. Don't know these guys... Listen to the sound track of Kill Bill Volume II, Robert Rodriguez and the Del Castillo bros teamed up to form Chingon for this sound track. Talented gentlemen, all.
