That makes no sense at all, AHII is a game and it's meant for fun.  Adding hassle to what should be a simple, fluid motion does nothing to increase immersion and decreases fun.

HiTech
I can see wheelmouse for throttle working in aircraft mode 1.

In GV/Boat mode 2, I could not get "throttle1" to do anything. I tried mapping my CH throttle, I tried mapping the Mousewheel  (only mapped one device at a time in Mode 2) Nothing happened when I tried a Tiger Tank,

I was wondering if the mousewheel was intended to act as W and S - I have remapped those keys on mine, could that be the reason?

I believe he meant mapping the range dial for gv gunsights so equipped to the throttle. C and V on the keyboard.

Dear HTC,

Now that you have implemented the new commander style GVing, I'd like to allow the scrolling of the mousewheel to change the ammuntion loaded into the chamber.  I'd like to have control in GVs be like an FPS, LMB to shoot, RMB to zoom (if availible), and scrolling to cycle ammunition types.  It would make fighting just that much less of a hassle and improved gameplay considerably.

To elaborate on the mousewheel wish, each 'click' of the mousewheel would default to counting as one press of the backspace key.  This could be set by the player to adjust its sensitivity.  Players with hyperscroll mice would use the sensitivity features just like joysticks.

I agree with gyrene.  It's pointless and a waste of the resources (no matter how meager) because you can program the Backspace command to your joystick to allow function of using a button to cycle through your ordnance.  Depending on your mouse, you can even program the Backspace key to a mouse button or even the scroll wheel to achieve the same thing.
