Vehicles motor running

Why do you have the motors running on the vehicles when you start out or spawn? If you spawn and there is a camper he can hear your engine running. Sometimes if they're not looking your way you can spot them first.   :furious

Unfortunately you're right. It isn't a bug.  The read me file for the update mentioned that vehicles would spawn with the engine running. In this case, a fix without a problem.

Some like it, some don't.  Maybe this could be made into a clipboard option, check box if you want your engine running on start-up.

Jayhawk, I like your Idea maybe this would work. I dont mind it in the hanger. A matter of fact it helps when 5 tanks are trying to get out the door at the same time. Thanks!

I like the engine running on start. Shift + W and you're moving versus getting shot while trying to get started.

An option would be good though.

If you turn off your engine the second you spawn, they'll never hear you.  Your engine will be in an off state before your engine state updates on the other player's front end and he'll never hear a start, stop or run sound.  Try it with a buddy in a hangar and you'll see.

No need to fix.. the "E" is the engine button....  Spawn, press, done...

He is not.

From the time you spawn on your computer until the time you spawn on other people system can be a many seconds.

If you simply press E immediately after you spawn, your engine will be off long before you spawn on anyone's system and hence they will not hear you.
