modeling in temperment?
« on: May 28, 2011, 11:28:01 AM »
just for immersion factor model in the mechanical problems the equipment had as a percentage. ex. if panthers had a 10% failure rate in final drive then that percntage of sorties would see this failure. if affected in flight then perk loss would be halved to compensate. gv supps would of course remedy this for ac a trip to the rearm pad to repair (but still not repair battle damage).

So you are wishing for our planes and tanks to randomly fail for no reason :huh

Why would you want that :headscratch:

Let all deaths be the result of operator error and being bested by an opponent, not chance.

There's a reason why random failures are not in the game, prowl3r. The outcome of battles or individual fights should be determined by the players and not by a random programming event. People would be fighting (and getting angry at) the programmers. This is just one of several situations where game play and fairness to all players trumps "realism."

I go with drink more beer to simulate random mechanical failure.  the more alcohol involved the higher the incident rate. not sure how the programers will coad that.  perhaps we should have a drink and think about it.

you dont want me to ho, dont point your plane at me.
