information needed on north american indian tribes.

hello fellow forumer <S>

i recently watched a documentary on the injustices inflicted upon the North American native indian population back when the NA was being settled.

and i would like to learn more about the Tribes of Native America.

does anyone have any good books or website suggestions? all are welcome.

Here's a good reference. It starts with the story of The Natchez.
There's a link towards bottom of page that lists info for all N.A. tribes.
Also, on left is an Index of all N.A. tribes.
It shows attrocities by Whites and Indians alike.
My Family comes from Apache & Pueblo (West Texas), and a Grandfather from N. Dakota
(Lakota).

Can you be a bit more specific as to what you are looking for? I mean do you want historical info or info on the tribes as they are today?
