manifold pressure/RPM Guages
« on: June 04, 2011, 01:34:32 AM »
now i recalibrated my stick and all but still everytime i trottle down my rpm gauge does not move at all. it works fine when im on the ground, but when im at alt or in the air it dosnt move when i set my manifold pressure for cruise i have to manually set the rpms. with the mapped key + and before the patch i never had to do that.

you're saying you used to have prop rpm mapped to the throttle? why would you do such a thing?

its called a constant speed prop for a reason.

no its not default. you'll see rpm react to throttle at low speeds below what the prop governor is set to. once engine makes enough power to get prop to the selected rpm, it stays at that rpm. all that changes is the prop pitch in reaction to how much power is being made by the engine
