Weather Channel local forcast
« on: June 07, 2011, 07:51:42 PM »
While doing some messing around on youtube, I happen to stumble across an recreated emulator that runs the local forcast program on your computer. There is a lot of setting up to do, but its actually pretty interesting on how it works. Apparently since the 80's the software for running it is called WeatherSTAR. Looking at the timeline you can see how advanced it has gotten.

Worth checking out if anyone is interested in that stuff.
