VC-79 FM-2
« on: June 11, 2011, 04:20:33 AM »
ArcticKat requested this VC-79 FM-2 skin as his great uncle Matt Rossen flew for this squadron during WW2. It has the standard USN late war all dark blue scheme with the double diamond ID for the escort carrier USS Sargent Bay. This ID marking should only appear on the opposite wings to the US insignia, not upper and lower on both wings as I've done it. However the AH FM-2 is an old 3D shape and apart from a small patch for the US insignia the wings are mirrored, so its either markings on both wings or neither wing.
