This sounds just like the intro to a cartoon that I watched as a kid.  It was called Megaman, and it depicted the fight against cyber-crime in an idealistic world-of-tomorrow.  It was my favorite show (right after Metabots).

Does this mean that I think that the fate of the world will be decided by the battle between highly advanced AI's and their handlers?  No, but it makes me :noid

Can we be serious though, is this a potential danger for the average joe?

Only if services such as automatic doors, traffic lights or electricity were reliant on the internet.

Are you a corporation?
If yes, then be worried (but actually don't because you'll be fine in the end, or even have more tools with which to make sure people can't touch you).
If no, then you're fine.

Tell me ... what is so "Average Joe" about Lockheed Martin, Sony, Google, citigroup, and the IMF that makes you think that those hackers would also want to hack into your computer ... to what ? .... steal all your youtube videos ... I think not.

Think about the targets in that report and what they have to offer and then think about you and what you have to offer ... You'll have nothing to worry about for the rest of your life ... trust me.

I don't have friends whom I can rely on to hang out with, always have to get a rain check. But  Don't worry I won't be here the week of the 20th cause of vacation and six flags. and Tomorrow I won't be here because of six flags too.

Plus the majority of teens in my neighborhood are vandals so I need to stay away from them.

I've been a kid since 1996.  Megaman and Metabots, I loved those shows.
