International Space Station
« on: June 12, 2011, 01:39:45 AM »
For those that might be interested, Sunday evening will be a great night to see the International Space Station go overhead.
Much of North America can get a rare 6 minute viewing. My location (Dayton, OH) will be prime because of clear weather.
Below is the link, select your country to the left side of the screen, pick your state, then a major city near you.
It will give you a readout of the time and location in the sky to look for it. You'll know it when you see it cause it's haulin balls (Approx. 17,500 MPH)

If it takes full power to taxi to the hanger, your gear is probably up.

This one is better plus you can track other things like the X37 which is up on another secret mission.

I just saw it go by!  Way brighter than I thought and despite some clouds overhead it shined right through!  AWESOME!
