Ah, cool. It's about time that tech starts getting used with a wider variety of hardware and for something besides games.

When the Kinect was first released, Microsoft had "unofficially" released open source drivers for homebrew developers to mess around with.  Some programmers have already done some pretty cool things with the Kinect and the PC.

Sony also released the drivers for the Move so the homebrew community can mess around with it as well but frankly, it just doesn't have the potential as the Kinect does.

the Move and the Kinect are 2 different types of gaming.

the move was created with FPS's&fighting games in mind (the move sharpshooter is compatable with allmost every ps3 exclusive shooter now, and the nunchucks are compatable with "the fight!:lights out).

im sorry but i cant give kinect any credit for originality, i mean the sony EYE and EYETOY were out a couple yrs before kinect even got in the game.

You forgot to mention that you can't give Sony any credit for originality for the move either.

I never said they were the same.

I really don't care what you give the Kinect, frankly, your opinion on anything related to gaming (or anything else for that matter) I ignore.

in a way you can, and cant. you can claim that sony ripped off the wii with the nunchuck idea if you like, but it can also be saaid the motion capturing technology like that was ripped off from sony by nintendo for the wii. due to the eyetoy coming out before the wii, move,or kinect.

so the idea, is not original. but the means of obtaining it was in some ways sony's in the first place.

just because you ignore it, doesnt make me right, nor wrong, it just means you cant stand my opinion on a subject. which is fine, i cant really stand yours ether  ;)
