Although I like the idea of different styles of airfields, I really, REALLY do not want to see planes being limited to certain bases. I have limited time to play and I'm not interested in flying my B17s 200 miles just to get to the "front lines", that's what scenarios are for.

And that's the reason why you won't see anything like this in the MA's. I can picture a map with all of the front line bases at it's default start being dirt runways and as you move back behind the lines have better airfields, better established fields. You have to capture the crappy front line base to work toward the better stronger defended bases. As a battlefield it would be a neat setup, but because of the wide open setup of the MA's  and the ability to do pretty much what you want when you want you won't see any type of restrictions set to the map.
