I'd like a map for offline testing. I'd like it to have a land mass, no need for water or hills or strats, etc.
Here's the kicker, though: I'd like a field in the middle (might as well make it "large") right at sea level. I then want a giant sector-wide cut, or groove, running north to south dropping the land mass BELOW sea level as much as possible (or up to 4000-5000 feet will suffice). So in other words, like a super grand canyon, but nothing fancy, just a sheer drop and a flat bottom will do.
In the past I asked and HTC commented they don't model denser air below sea level (I think they said it stays "sea level" no matter how far you go) and I want to test climb rates. Problem is testing climb rates skews sea level because of zooming and taking off. Solution: Already be climbing from a lower alt!
I don't have any experience with the TE lately, and frankly don't want to have to learn just yet. Would this kind of test map be something anybody in here can do? Chime in if you're interested!
