Looking for seat position views
« on: June 23, 2011, 11:03:41 AM »
Hello AH'ers,

Was thinking about coming back to AH but not looking forward to setting up my VIEWS. Was wondering if there was anyone who could help me out by letting me have their file.

I've done it for many people in the past but my Mediafiles files are missing or corrupted. I also had all the 2008 and previous terrains for an easy one time download and a ton of training film that are missing....what a shame...should have put them on CD

Be much appreciated if someone from the community could help make my re-entry back in the game a little easier :aok

I'd be happy to, but I don't know the name of the file. I don't think I'm set up for 100% but damn near most of 'em.

Under the settings/planes sub-directory there are .hps files for each plane. Guessing hps stands for head position saved. the other file type in the directory is I think the loadout

I use Murdr's head positions. These cover most planes in the game short of the ones recently implemented:

I'm at work right now so I can't verify for sure but...

\...\Aces High II\settings\

Was what was in the readme. Should be able to extract them directly to that folder.

One more folder if you're looking where to save .hps files:

Aces High\Settings\Planes

That should give me a great head start for now..wish i could find my old ones tho. I completely forgot about  Murder's views where my original came from and then tweaked to suit me later.

 Thanks again  AH'ers

<EDIT do to a view tip using the mouse look to set a different view before hitting F10 that did not wk out. Disregard.>
