Can fly offline mode just fine.  Connecting all weekend, no problem.  I was able to get online once tonight.  When picking a map, game crashed.

Since then, each and every time, game crashes when clicking ok to login to the game.  Can't get get to the maps unless I go into offline mode.

Windows 7, home premium version. When trying to connect tonight and go online, I almost got online.  I see the following log in the application log in windows each and every time it crashes:

Faulting application name: aceshigh.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4de512b3
Faulting module name: aceshigh.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4de512b3
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x0017ba68
Faulting process id: 0x1184
Faulting application start time: 0x01cc2f9ed4fe2942
Faulting application path: C:\HiTech Creations\Aces High\aceshigh.exe
Faulting module path: C:\HiTech Creations\Aces High\aceshigh.exe
Report Id: 1762912b-9b92-11e0-b0b9-005056c00008

Game is an application exception inbound/outbound all interfaces in Windows firewall.

Windows updates have not been applied since May.

Ping plotter good, frame rate is 59 on initial startup.

using version 2.24 patch 5.

Can ping servers just fine, no latency.

Not at all.  Once an abnormal termination of the game occurs, it is possible for file(s) in the "settings" folder to get corrupted causing the game to crash every time after that.

I wish I could have gotten the old "settings" folder to see which file was causing it.

If a person logs into and plays AH for awhile and exits normally, would it behoove the player to make a copy of the entire "settings" folder to reload after a crash? Or does playing awhile and exiting normally not guarantee a non-corrupt "settings" folder
Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.
