Task group damage update

Not long ago i was able to take a brand spankin new cruiser down with the Pt's 40mm alone. All i was looking forward to do was to dull the AA for CV killers and before you knew it I sunk it with much 40mm ammo to spare. Sure i was happy but it was stupid. So my wish is instead of having the ships be like hangers and require X amount of ord. I would like to see it remodeled to be similar to our GV system were damage depends on where you hit. I'm no naval guy but 40mm ammunition shouldn't be able to penetrate the hull armor on a cruiser and more importantly sink it.

it shoudl be based on if the ship has goton hit in a place where it has thicker armour or where bombs penetrate and do damage below decks. tink that the damage system be overhauled and where ships can take on flooding due to torpedos and fires due to bomb hits

I've sank cvs with the 40mm alone... if no one watches it. You can lob the 40mm rounds in from outside the auto aaa range. If you do it right you can sink the carrier and cruzer with just the guns on thePt. In one run. My best is the cv with torps one cruzer with 40mm and 2 escorts in one run. But no one was watching the cv clearly.
