Cats are great for this...
Dogs, however, are not.
I DID have a dog that used to do something similar to my cat, though. Especially when it thought it's bed was being monopolized.
For those of you that are worried about the cat, it is called a vestibular apparatus. I'm sure the cat was fine.
Kinda wish I had one a cool as a cat.
