190a5 skins list error: one skin is doubled and overwriting another

On the 190a5 in the skins list there are 2 duplicate listings for 190a5_15, description "1./JG1 by Bubi". Both show the same skin if you select either listing.

Also, 190a5_10, description "JGr/Ost by Krusty" is not showing up in the list at all.

Confirmed offline, online, and updated with new version 2262 and accompanying hi-res pack. I re-downloaded the skin files in question and 190a5_10 still shows on the downloads page so it wasn't removed.

I think the entry for JGr/Ost by Krusty somehow got overwritten by a duplicate 1./JG1 by Bubi.

Note there should be 3 skins like that. I did 2, one with and one without the yellow nose. NrRaven did another with the yellow nose.

The 2 I did are distinguished by HTC by one having the /, one not having it.

You are looking at "JGr Ost by Krusty" and the one that is missing is "JGr/Ost by Krusty"

This is a somewhat recent bug, as it showed up fine before.

It is the last one that was over-written with the duplicate Bubi skin entry.

   dam, didn't realize there were 3 of those skins, never paid attention. kinda odd the bubi skin got doubled up and over wrote your skin on the last skin update.

Raven's seems to have good "depth," but the nose and tail markings really bother me for some reason. Something about them just looks sloppy, imo. The only one I'd fly is the first one, but it's still not the A5 skin I'd pick. I'm a much bigger fan of the JG54's.

Personally I feel Raven's skin there has too much of a high-contrast cloud/noise/distortion layer on top of everything, and if you look past that the skin below that layer doesn't cut it. He didn't put the effort in to correcting the distortion on the tulip petals, and the camo is just random "fiction" (tiger stripe?), not adhering to the real patterns and camo visible on photos of the real plane. His other skins are definitely much better. This one always bugged me

If I were to go back and re-do it I could make mine better, but that's not going to happen for this skin. I was just pointing out the skin list issue, not so much debating which skin is better

not for nothin, but Krustys skins are a bit sterile for my taste.   these planes weren't built to sit in museums, they were built to fight, and should look like it IMO.   my $0.02

That page used to be automatically generated but now has to be done by hand, so it is quite possible errors will occur.

This is an issue with the in-game skins drop-list, rather than the webpage. The webpage seems to reflect it properly, where the game does not.

There is no 190a5_15 skin in the skins index list.  I removed the erroneous entry from the downloads page.  Not sure how it ended up there, but thanks for point it out.

Near as I can tell, it looks to have been some remnant leftover from 10/2009.

EDIT:  At one time there was a 190a5_15, but for whatever reason, it appears to have been partially removed from the system.  The paperwork for it is gone.  I am at a loss on this one.

EDIT2:  Ok, number 15 was deleted because it was a duplicate of number 10.  The skinner may have submitted it twice, or was trying to update the skin, but failed to include the skin reference number so we took it as a new entry.

So, with the mystery solved, I have killed off 190a5_15 throughout the system.

Here's the problem: #10 was my skin. It never had a duplicate. I think a mistake happened somewhere along the lines.

When I say duplicate, I am talking about the skin itself, not who submitted the skin.

It appears Bubi's skin was supposed to replace the number 10 skin, according to a note in the number 10 record.

This was back in 2009, I can honestly say I have abolutely no recollection of the events that transpired with this one.  I am shooting from the hip.
