Simple Machine code linke question
« on: July 09, 2011, 01:01:09 AM »
Slap me up the head

What is the code tag using the BBS SMF code that WILL NOT open the link in a new tab or window ?

Its available in the SMF standards, and is handy when posting links that refer a user back to 'book mark' within a thread

I will answer my own post...

if you tag a url as "iurl" it will (if the user browser does not have an override) open the link in the same tab or window

I think one can conclude that 'i' is for internal

Useful if you want to bounce a reader back up a thread to another post within the thread, such as referring back to an op
