mouse driving me batty

OK windows7/64bit.just did a reinstall a few days ago,and my mouse is STILL moving around on its own.left clicking right clicking,middle scroll being activated,and scrolling stuff being highlighted on  pages..I have tried all kinds of settings,and all kinds of malware searches,virus searches,I have malwarebytes,antivir,anti virus free edition..super spyware,,and NOTHING is ever found..it starts about 5:20 or so in the afternoons but can be anywhere from 2-3 hours north or south of that time..it is a laser mouse,but any mouse I put opn it,seems to do that,I have tried different usb ports,I am stumped..Help..thanks..falcon 23

Have a look in your device manager and see if the mouse is showing more than once. Get rid of any duplicates. Also I note that Logitech seem to have a few problems with mouse drivers in windows 7 64 bit. Is your mouse (mice) logitech?

EDIT:
I would guess that your problem may be with the mouse drivers - So I would be inclined to check that area thoroughly once you have checked the device manager has nothing unusal.

I was temporarly using an old HP optical PS2 connection type mouse, on my new build/Windows7 64 bit and was having the same issues every now and then the mouse cursor would just jump all over the screen........ or I could be scrolling down a page and it would auto jump back to the top.....

I went and grabbed my Logitech MX 580???? series USB gamer mouse and all problems solved/gone........  certian optical mouse need certian drivers...... ( regardless of brand ) my logitech mouse according to Logitech's support website says to not install any logitech drivers/software for my particular mouse, to use the MS Windows 7 drivers only to avoid any conflicts....... however their are other Logitech mouse models/input devices that require specific logitech drivers/software in order for them to work correctly in Windows 7

same for other Brand input devices & mouse models

be sure to research / check with your brand/manufacturer's support website for your device

Its the mouse. Used to happen to me all the time when I went with the el cheapo GE brand.
Picked up a slightly more expensive HP mouse and irt hasnt happened again
