GMT T.O.D. Participants today
« on: February 18, 2000, 12:50:00 AM »
Good morning gentlemen,
For those of you who are already enlisted in the GMT TOD, please go to the assigned webpage and download/read the ROE.

http://www.wardogs.org/ah/

There is of course still a lot of space available for others to enlist...

The 1st mission will start aproximately in a week from now (I will be away next week end for family reasons).

More details will be on the webpage by this Sunday evening...

Thank you.

Hey, Saint: you might want to remove Jarbo's and I's (Sabre) call sign from the "Mission Time" paragraph of the TOD ROE's you have up on your web-page.  Otherwise it may confuse people coming into the arena for the GMT TOD mission, looking for Sabre or Jarbo, instead of you.  I'm flattered you're using the ROE's we came up with, though.  Planning the missions will be your greatest challange.  Too easy and people will loose interest. Too hard, and the attrition will kill you (no pun intended) before you get very far.  Be flexible while running the missions, ready to modify the mission in-progress if it looks like the group is heading into a fire sack.  Also be reasonably generous when determining if people are captured or manage to evade and escape.

I think it's just great to see the TOD concept catching on and spreading, Saint.  I only hope HtC picks up on it and makes it an official part of the Aces High lexicon. With official recognition as a player event, maybe we could get exlusive use of the special events arena on certain days and times.  Let me know how it's going. Only wish I had time to participate in the GMT TOD, but we've still got a couple weeks left of the EST TOD to finish up.
