Question On Scoring
« on: July 10, 2011, 01:10:18 PM »
I connected to our Arabian Knights Forum today to get a surprise razzing for shooting down a Squady!?!?!?

I went to the logs, low and behold....it credits me for shooting down a squadie that disco'ed 1.5K  in front of me.  So I gotta ask....how did that affect our score?   We were both in bombers and I didn't touch him with a single round.  He disco'ed in friendly territory (on final approach) and I was behind him on final.   For some reason...I got credited with a "friendly" kill.  I do have the film if it helps.

Now the two assists on friendly fighters I can see...they followed a C205 right into my gun stream....but the bomber is just...well...strangeness.

AKSoftal.   (looks around for the Court Martial)  LOL.

After checking the loggs, perhaps one of your gunner rounds grazed your squaddie b4 he discoed.  Therefore being the only bullet that touched him. Thats the only reason I can think of it, nice sortie by the way.... :salute Tuk151

No problem Softail. I will remove that bomber loss that was noted in the logs. :)
Thanks for heads up. I don't check for discos, I just count the AC lost.

Tuk is probably right, you may have hit him with some rounds which then would credit you with a kill after a disco.

It got pretty wild over A131.....LOL.

I didn't fire a shot on egress back to 155.... maybe a stray round hit over 131....109s and 205s everywhere.

I even got hit by a "Sonderkommando Elbe"  ....  BF109 suicide pilot rammed me head on  and took out my lead bomber!  LOL

Careful going down this road...

Full of mines and pit falls

Sometimes its better that a 'few' suffer and take it for the Team

Raw Log output has a glitch in connecting 'vanished' and 'shot down'

Just saying,,,

DARN!  I had him right where I could razz him the best, too.

All in good fun, Softail.  BTW the Bar Fund is down to zero again.

Agree with oneway (unless that bomber gives the Axis just enough points to win the frame) then court must go into session!    :devil

seriously though, oneway is right...
