Joachim,

If you were interested in becomming a trainer why didnt you respond to Rolex's thread in the GD forum a week or so ago?

Rolex posted that the training corps are looking for a few trainers and I was kind of disappointed in the amount of relies he got. I thought for sure he'd be overwhelmed with responses but that wasnt the case.We did get replies from some talented players and hope to add a few new trainers shortly.

It may not be too late to respond, send a PM to Rolex and see if he will consider you for a position,he'd like to hear what any prospect can bring to the table and why they would make a good trainer!

Don't have to be an official trainer to teach.  ;)

This is how I started, just helping out in the TA.  Eventually, I got a good enough teaching rep that players started looking for me.  I was asked about this time to join the training corps, but declined since I didn't think I was a good enough trainer yet, and told them next year.  With another year under my belt, I finally felt I was ready and when next asked, I joined.  Learning to teach BFM/ACM can be just as hard or harder then learning BFM/ACM, so it's something that comes to you with practice.   You'll come to learn your own teaching and to an extent fighting style.  This is why I sometimes recommend possibly hitting more then one trainer, we are each a bit different in our fighting styles and how we teach.  If you are serious about becoming a trainer in the future, ask if you can ride along with a trainer, while teaching, most won't mind.  I did this a few times myself.

I thought I read you have to be at least 18 years old from a previous post in the GD?  Not saying you aren't JOACH1M.

yep, as Grizz posted/quoted me on this..... in the past we had a requirement of Trainers being over a certian age, preferably we wanted New Potential Trainers to be around 25 or older... main reason was "Maturity Level" ........ with younger individuals, the maturity level is usually lower than what is needed in this particular role...... their are exceptions to the rule however!

also, I do not know if Rolex has any "Exact Age" requirements, it has always been up to the LEad Trainer at the time, best I remember... but at least old enough to vote I would think.......

I wouldn't let the age thing discourage you from building a resume Joachim. If you enjoy teaching others then there's no harm in offering to help the guys in the TA when a trainer is not around. If you are devoted and patient enough, who knows what will happen?  :)

I absolutely agree with Cursed on this !!!

A person who wishes to help others / Training & Teaching & Guiding etc..... must be doing it all for the right reasons......

so JOACH1M, my 1st main question to you if I was the "Lead Trainer" would be "why do you want to be considered for a "Trainer position opening" ? what are your reasons?

NOTE - you do not have to answer that here in public...... but ask yourself that and write the answers to those questions down on paper.....

but seriously, do not let you being young or under any certian age requirement if you are, hold you back or get in the way ....... as Cursed posted...... you can be building a good resume , Teaching Skills, game knowledge, etc... for future potential

hope this helps

Really? Then how do you explain Soulyss being a trainer?  :devil

Damn, all he needs to do now is sleep with the lead Skinner and he can hold a spot in all 3 groups.

That would be difficult slutty behavior for even Silat!  Good luck!  :D
