MW :rofl

+1

I think midwar should be treated as more of an anything goes rumpus room.  I mean so few actually fly in it that instead of talking on country, everyone talks on the ALL channel.
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

Character is like a tree and reputation like its shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing.

When the game is over, the Kings and Pawns all go into the same box.

I don't have a problem with someone switching sides, hell I have no loyalty to any chess piece, my only opposition to this is during a fight when someone switches sides (even though its balanced) to defend, and its been going on often now and its pretty funny to see how low people will go for easy kills.

One of the more memorable fights I was in happened about a year ago there were 3-4 of us on and we were in a big furball that started to get lopsided and was getting pushed out of the middle and towards one of the fields, we looked at the numbers and switched to the other team and pushed the fight back to the middle ground.  Then the numbers started to get out of whack again and the fight drifted back towards the original field we were flying from so we switched back.  We had everyone so confused it was a good laugh, and it helped keep the fight going. :)

Thats highly different from telling someone you are running an m3, then switch at last second to hunt for it. I tend to switch sides depending on the situation of the map (mainly only in the morning where the fights are broken into a few sectors at most).

I did enjoy the conversation with a certain Pizza Face about spying however, I do find it funny a certain Bishop wasn't to happy I was over there side for a few minutes, whined about spying - what is one player going to do vs his hoarde of 95 in a mission to NOE a base?

I flew for 10 minutes to what i thought was a good furball, but like any good furball it died after bish zerged a few rook bases.

Shame we have so many few players in the morning, although I can say the quality is generally higher, at least till the cartoons turn off.

In the 80th barracks we live in constant fear of another "re-education" session or verbal tirade from the likes CO Corkyjr, or his lazy-eyed, peg legged henchwoman  Princess/Mensa.

I always knew it.  He's just too nice in the game for that not to be balanced out by exactly what you describe.  Does this peg legged hench woman known as Mensa resemble Jabba the Hut's pet bird by chance?

That's correct. Apparently.

In Midwar today and Bish have triple the numbers of the other sides and are rolling bases at will. So we (The Unforgiven) switch to create resistance.

Shortly afterward I receive a PM telling me that we are ruining the arena by balancing the sides. We are the reason folk are not coming to the arena.

(Image removed from quote.)

I have been told and now I know for future. Bish don't want a fight in Mid War and if you offer them one you've ruined the game for them. Well done Bish, you make me proud.

Flame on!

lol Not to mention the guy who PM'd you is one of the reasons for low numbers in there. If he is 5k or less above you he will run to nearest ack/cv.

Last night was a lot of fun in there. We swiped their cv then tried to work it out of their end of the map. Made for 2 or 3 hours of fun. They finally sunk her.

It is not unusual to have 15 bish 3 knit and 3 rooks in there. I have switched to bish when I was going to be AFK before just to help their ENY.  :devil

Thank you to all who do switch.

You'll often find those war effort neutral fights with the same people that are all about the fight.   When they go on for a while, and when people start logging in or out, guys always switch to even it out.  I haven't been playing that much for a while now, but when I did these were the most fun for me.  There was no country loyalty involved in those fights and you often flew with people you had just been killing or had killed you.

Anyone involved in that part of the game can only snicker at all of the country loyalty.  That being said, I still do feel dirty when I fly bish.  I know it's just me.  My shrink and I are ironing that issue out.

BTW - If you haven't switched sides, convinced one of your squaddies who logs on to bring a goon over to where you are, and then shot him out of the sky, then you need to work on your fun quotient.

JG54 always switched to the lower sides. granted at the time there were only 5 or 6 of us. just the same, it does make for a better game. if you pee on someone's wheaties in the process, so be it. the idea, was to lower the ENY and get planes we wanted to fly, and of course get a decent fight out of the game.

you guys are a bunch of hordmonky/altmonkey/bnz/base grabbing goofs.  :neener:

that being said........i wish i could get back ingame with yas.
