Hans Kolbow (8 January 1914 ? 17 July 1941) who had downed 27 planes and was awarded the Iron Cross, bailed out on the Eastern Front. His parachute failed to open and he plunged to his death.

Unit:    Condor Legion, JG 20, JG 51
