desktop icon problem
« on: July 22, 2011, 10:31:21 AM »
Anyone know how to fix these? Can't find anything on these problems.

I can't rearrange my icons. When I drag/drop an icon, it creates a copy of the icon I was trying to move.
And I can also select multiple icons at once without holding shift or ctrl and I can't deselect them when clicking on an empty part of the desktop.

if something happened that they changed without you doing anything,.....and you had to add somethign to the registry to make them work....may be time to run some scans.

No, it was me. I've been having problems lately with lag, internet freezing, and typing lag. I thought it might be because I was running out of memory. I deleted a bunch of programs/files and did a disk clean-up. That freed a good amount of space. I also defragged the C drive and ran a registry cleaner (which is what i think screwed up the icons).

I'm still having a lot of internet/typing lag.
