Blech... Goodness knows theres several dozen too many of those floating around... I miss when there were these musical groups called 'bands' who actually wrote their own music and lyrics, and who required true musical skill to play the notes correctly. And when they actually released a song, it was, more often than not, with other songs on an albums.


sigh...

Times change, my parents usually rant about MTV changing from what it was when they were teens to today's audience. I have to admit things have slipped big time since the 80's-90's, my only regret is being brought to life at this time period, 20 years ago woulda been a heck of a lot better.

Yeah, 60s-70s would have been amazing. and I wouldn't be that old by now, either!!!

But I have to at least those few bands keeping the older stuff alive. Not like they used to be, but continuing to exist. Chili Peppers, AC/DC, too many more to name.

And then there's the new rock bands... not like it used to be, but at least trying.

MTV used to be all about Music videos played by Veejays 24/7, Headbangers ball was always great to watch.    now its nothing but reality trash and promoting all the garbage that goes along with it, but that's what sells to the mindless people who watch it now.

lol, the rapper from friday is the songwriter. He probably wrote this song because she was under contract with him.
