You still claim that there is plenty of air, cars should be blowing up left and right then. You do know that electric motors ark, right?
And again, i wouldn't. Solid rear axle likes smooth and even surface only. What kind of BMW's are there anyway?

do they? they can ark in liquid?

Is it true if you buy a chevy or a dodge you get a complimentary skirt, purse, and heels?  :devil

theres a lot to put into one of those cars, it would be a while anda drain of funds before they started making back what they won.
it was me indeed. post the links.

hey masonz!!!

here ya go. gotta admit....that challenger looks pretty dam good comin 'round that turn.

also, note how well that IRS works for the car that has the prefered line in the turn, as it can't overtake the car with the "whacking great girder with a tire on each end".  :devil

nice vid of a challenger track test. it looks like all they really need to do to that to make it competitive, is to give it a little quicker steering....it appears as if he's having to feed in way too much steering input to make those turns....and there's one spot where it looks like it leans a LOT....so a little stiffer suspension too, and it'd be a beast.

i'm just puttin this one up, 'cause both of these cars look like they're just sittin there, waiting, thinking to themselves....."go ahead....i'll rip your face off"  :devil

looking at that last vid Cap I can see what you're saying about handling.  Looks like the Challenger is a tad squirrely in the turns.

Okay an assessment from a guy that isn't all that knowledgeable about cars.  I love the look of the new Camaros but, when I checked them out, I wasn't fond of the lack of visibility.  Motor and handling felt good but if I can't see I'm not really comfortable.  Dodge had good visibility and 'felt' good if a little heavy.  Overall the stang won out again.  Visibility isn't fantastic but better than the Chevy.  Dodge had better visibility but I felt that if I was cornering hard I could easily lose it.  *shrug*

CAP (and any others that think a Vette is beyond them)

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-corvettes-for-sale-52/

From mild to wild .. a used vette can be found with the toys you want ..or a bone stock low mileage canvas to work your own magic on.

You will pay more for one with a 427 in it, or twin turbo's ..or supercharged .. but .. compared to the cost of doing it yourself it's a huge bang for the buck savings.

I searched Craigslist, Ebay, and the Vette forum before making a list of possible cars, ..went to the first one and it just grabbed me,
..turned out to be bone stock, hi-mileage, just frikkin beautiful with a 6 gear.

However .. when you buy a used car, you get a used car.

I did some pre-emptive strike maintenance by puttin in an LS-7 clutch as the one in it didnt feel 'good' (flywheel was fried a bit and the disc was almost done turns out, found the couplers were shot and the rear main seal was leakin a bit)
.. replaced the weatherstripping as it was fried, hard, chunks missing
.. replaced rear differential gasket as it was leakin a bit,
.. did some upgrades to make the car more fun to drive
aluminum radiator ..now it doesn't care how hot it is outside, it's pegged at 200 or so with a 195 thermostat
..and the B&B exhaust .. music no less)

Paid 11.5k for it, have put 3k into it so far .. worth every penny.

I *love* the sound when I crank it up, when I run thru the gears, up an onramp .. just a blast to drive.
They are out there .. some need more TLC than others, some are truly beasts .. all are damn fine automobiles :)

IMHO

i know they're out there. what caught me about yours when it was for sale, was the sheer beauty of that car. well.....that, and if one can judge a person by the way they post here.......i pretty much trust you, and your word, so i feel i would not have been wasting my time to fly out there with cash in hand.

i'm kinda hooked on the mustang, as i just cannot get enough of the looks of the new body. there's one been running around by my shop....black, tinted glass(kind of illegal in nj, but they don't fail that for inspection anymore), and blacked out 19" wheels.......it looks like sex on wheels.

I think the newest body style of the mustang seems influenced a lot by the aston martin vantage V8 cars.

Of course, the Vantage shows a lot of earlier mustang bodywork influence.

The circle complete.

actually, most cars of this type have some "mustang" influence in their designs.

Considering Ford owned Aston Martin for quite a while (1994-2007), it really is not a mystery as to where those design lines crossed over.
