Custom Arena - Tanking at night
« on: July 29, 2011, 09:13:54 AM »
I was fooling around yesterday and tuned the time clock to 1am which made it pitch black and fiddled around with flying then tanking at night - reminds me of a few years back when we had a Spit16 vs C205's over Libya in the middle of the night - (Snapshot was over this was simply a dueling frame).

Simply another world to tank at night let along have a few dogfights, anyone who hasn't tried it grab a squadie and setup one, type .help if you need the list of commands :salute

The first ever GV snapshot was " Breakout from Lenningrad " and it was at night.
A yappy back seater like Jester wasn’t popular or fun to fly with, more of an unnecessary distraction than anything else---Puma44

A few months back there was the "Where's Waldo" GV only event in the SEA, and after it was over we had a few crazy tank battles, the last of which was a no-icons, night time "free-for-all" with killsshooter off..... every man for himself.... all inside of the city inside of tank town on that map...... house to house, block to block, shooting down streets and ally ways in the dark with limited visibility... it was a BLAST! I think I popped 4 or 5 guys in my T-34/85 before I got insta-towered by someone I never heard or saw...... I think the longest range kill I scored couldn't have been firther out than 600m...
