You know, I have always liked Harrison Ford movies (except Frantic)...  I liked Daniel Craig as Bond...  I generally like science fiction...  Maybe the TV ads just aren't very good.  Maybe it's the title that sounds like a bad 1930ish serial.

I just haven't been able to get interested in this movie.

Maybe if it gets some good word of mouth, once people start seeing it...

Looks pretty solid to me and I'm a movie snob.  To me, the cheesy title of the movie actually exudes a subtle level of confidence in the product.

Weird, Frantic is one of his better movies...

I didn't care for it.  Maybe because when I saw it in 1988, my girlfriend and I mistakenly thought we were seeing a different movie that was out at the same time.  We, for whatever reason, had thought that we were seeing Dead on Arrival and had simply confused the titles.

I remember sitting in the theater during Frantic thinking, "This is not the movie we wanted to see."  Perhaps that unfairly colored my opinion of the movie in a negative way.

Never did see Dead on Arrival, have heard since that it sucked.

Yeah, remakes usually suck. If you have an opportunity, have a look at the original with Edmond O'Brien. An excellent movie.
