Thanks Corky, but records do create challenges, and challenges are fun for many players, including AH God's such as Fester.
And when I say it was taxing to go for 100 kills, yes it was, but it was quite fun to set out to accomplish, it was especially fun to see batfinkv make a movie about it, and is also fun that it is still being discussed, a year after I tried to do it. 
And that part is great. It was a challenge you set for yourself, not that the game set for you. I doubt it would have meant as much had it been. So don't get me wrong, if folks want to go for 'records' like that, more power to them. I just don't think the game should make a list that folks should try and get on. As you say, folks still talk about it anyway.
It's funny that you mention Fester as an AH God. No disrespect to Fester, but I've never run into him in an equal situation in all the years I've played. He's always been above or with help. That's fine, and maybe he'd mop the floor with me co alt, but I don't know. In that regard I don't know if he's an AH God
I remember his going after a kill streak, and again more power to him, but that's far less impressive to me then taking on all comers
SHawk's name shows up on the leader board all the time. That means nothing to me. But I've also fought him many times and I know he knows how to bend a cartoon plane. That means a lot.
Guys were talking about Drex recently, another AH "God". He was back in game and I ran into him. Where did I find him? Low in a Spit 9 looking for a fight. He was rusty and I actually won a few. But the rust wore off and I saw what he could do with that bird.
JUG established himself on my list in a Jug on the deck taking on all comers. Agent did the same taking on all comers in his 109K4. Slapshot in an F6. The list goes on and on of guys like that who will never be on an AH generated list, but they made the list of a lot of guys flying cartoon planes.
Grizz, you and I fly with a lot of guys like that in our respective squads.
