« on: September 07, 2015, 11:46:08 AM »
Very unusual flight view, with something to learn.

Tom Dozier video for Planes of Fame.

Flaps to maneuver setting at 4:25. Interesting how they go in before extending further for landing. Nice vid.  :aok

Probably missed the detent if he used the detent.  It is hard to see if the first flap setting was 8 degrees.  Could be.

Great video.

Yes, let's help Steve Hinton with the P-38 flying.

Randy if you look at Zeno's P-38 video the landing procedure has the flaps out 50% initially before going to full flaps. I still think 50% is more than 8 degrees deflection. Somebody must know.   :D

Steve Hinton is such a gentlemen. I went down to planes of fame and he was pulling dip sticks on that 38. Walked up talked a bit and got a nice pic. I had always wanted to meet him ever since I saw my first pictures of the RB-51.

Watched it and a few others 1/2 a dozen times, all

In this one I assume she had flown earlier as it was started up and just pulled away.
Not much action but the radiator doors were a detail too.
