This is my skin of "Bonnie" the P-47D-23 flown by Major William "Bill" Dunham CO of the 460th FS, part of the 348th FG. Dunham was the second highest scoring ace of the group with 16 kills. This aircraft shows 15 kills, his last one was scored after the group reequipped with the P-51D.
The black stripes were a theater ID applied to US fighters at the end of 1944. At the time the 348th FG were stationed in the Philippines.
