Hitler was recruited by Hess.
« on: August 20, 2011, 10:51:29 PM »
I was just reading up on a breif biogrophy of William Patrick "Willy" Stuart-Houston-Hitler, otherwise known as "Adolf Hitler's nephew".

In a nutshell, it is reported that he fled Nazi Germany and ended up in New York and after lots of prodding he was clear and allowed to join the US Navy in 1944.  The US Navy recruiter welcomed him by saying something to the effect of: "Glad to see you Hitler, my name is Hess."  Oh, how ironic.  :lol
