Number Four Engine Not Working
« on: August 13, 2011, 12:55:18 PM »
A couple patches ago I started having problems with my number four engine in all my bombers, it won't throttle up and my bombers go veering off the runway. I've tried selecting the number four engine itself and it just doesn't want to throttle up. It's a really weird problem and only seems to affect the number four engine. I went through all my keymapping and stick mapping and nothing's been changed, so I'm not sure how to go about fixing this one, very strange problem, any suggestions?

When you veer off the runway, use rudder. :D

Seriously, though, Ihave no idea why it would be doing that. The only reason I can think of is if you've selected only engines 1/2/3, but you can't actually do that. That is to say, you can't select all but 2 or 3 engines.

it has to be a mapping issue. see if by mistake something got switched to keyboard mapping also.  to test for sure, remove your settings folder then try off line after mapping just the basics.

Is it Saitek SST you have it mapped on ? SST has a weird habit of changing mapping on its own. Thats why I simply map "E" for all engines and then use the available engine keys for other stuff.
Yes, your on "Ignore"

In aces high make sure nothing is mapped to engines #2, #3 or #4.  (or #3 or #4 if using a split throttle).
