Oh without question. (Image removed from quote.)

A fearsome machine.  :D
stand within firing range of it with nothing but a rifle in your hands.

even this would be formidable:

I think the Scorpion etc CVRT platform is very cool, 30mm/76mm/90mm and every variant you can imagine, MLRS, AAA, SAM, APC, C&C, ambulance, radar, AVR etc etc. 50mph+, same ground pressure as infantry, reliable (well the diesel versions), pack 2 into a C130. in service ~1970 - today ...

Call me stupid, but I have always loved the tanks I grew up with: M60A1 with its 0.50 cal commanders cupola and an IR searchlight mounted on the barrel. Too slow, not enough armor, too tall... say whatever you want. I still think it looks cool. The other tank I like almost as much is its predecessor, the M48A3 which is almost the same thing with a scaled down gun and even less armor.

I like the British Challenger 2 and Merkava for modern day tanks, with the Leopard and M1A2 being close seconds.

Nothing really catches my attention from 1946-1980-ish.

For the WWII era, I really like the Cromwell and Panther G.  The Tiger I and Panzer IV H are a close second.  Oh, and I think the T34x is over-rated.

The Centurion, just missed WWII, served in Korea - none lost I believe -  and served into the 70's. The Israeli's liked it a lot!
