gunsights
« on: August 20, 2011, 10:07:52 PM »
ive been working at this for a week straight now, and for those of you who wants a few new gunsights here they are. (this is probably the best place to post gunsights im guessing, sorry if its in the wrong place)

i am currently working on a gunsight for gunning in bombers that will help leading the target a bit easier. EDIT: the gunnery gunsight should be done in a day or so.

I like the first one! If only, you put a circle with lines coming like the first one  below, I would use that for k4  :)

alright, the dot in the middle is to aim at D600(or around it) and the lowest one is for sniping at D800-1k.

very small and very simple gunsight. aim, shoot, win!  this one is still in the "testing" phase, and may go under re-contstruction.

just a "for the hell of it" sight i made  :lol

a gunsight based off of a rocket-sight. except this one is for guns :)

(yeeesh start making gunsights at 10 and next thing you know its 2:40 in the morning!)

same gunsight, just in a light *kind of* illuminated purple.

electric blue gunsight.  this one is made for the BF-110G2. it's primary use is for bomber killing/ack killing. it has a small gap to target a small part of a bomber such as the wingtip. with a normal gunsight that has a dot in the middle it would only obscure it. this one gives a "true" point of aim.

same gunsight except this one is a very light green. still has the same purpose.

rocket gunsight. works best with the WGr-21's. first line is for very close engagement, second medium and 3rd med/long range.

same one, just green.

These are great!!

what program are you using to make them?

ive just been using paint, and the illuminated ones i edit again in GIMP. its fairly simple to do. you copy and paste one of the original gunsights to your desktop, edit it in paint to what you like then you copy and paste again back into your sights folder. so you have the original and the edited one.

In the next 2 days i am going to be unable to make gunsights as i will be out of town during those 2 days.  i will be online because i have my iphone with me but sadly, paint doesnt come with it. curse you apple and your inability to make a standard issue editing software for the iphone!
