Was a great little fight.

I made a few tentative passes at you before Icer showed up in his Spit, but you never let me have the easy shot. So I decided to just pin you down and wait for him to showup to help.
To me the N1K2 is an extremely dangerous opponent for a Pony, so I always make sure that I keep up my speed and never ever let that evil green nose get pointed at me without alot of speed and seperation between us

[IMO a Niki is twice as dangerous as a F4U-1C]
So then I let you and Icer go at it, while I went into cover mode, taking what shots I could get, and trying to get your attention whenever it seemed that you were getting angles on him. Very fun fight.
Then we got down on the deck and I got a pretty good firing pass on you, but missed cause I was just a little too hot. And instead of keeping my seperation or using a hi yo yo (which is what I was doing earlier in the fight), I immediately pulled straight into the vertical and over the top, which gave me a quick followup shot (for a Pony at least). It seemed like you didnt expect me to be back into the fight that soon, and you were lining up on Icer, when you saw me.
I thought I had you cold, and you *still* almost evaded me

You pulled that Niki around tight and I lined up for the raking deflection shot from nose to tail, and all my hits were right on your tail. If you had seen me a half second earlier I would have missed that shot as well. Quite impressive flying.

And Icer... do you realize that he is still in his first week of his free trial period? He is a very good stick over in AW, and has picked up the FM here so fast its scary.
We were doing some 1 v 1 work in the TA in Spits, and I got him the first couple of times, and then he started killing me off regularly.
Now if I can just convince him that $30/month is worth it, and to stick around after his two weeks.
Anyways Humble, very nice fight <S!>. It was great fun
