Switch out CUSTOM WATER bmp's at will as seen with clouds.

I made a custom water BMP that was really "rough" water. It looks like a very stormy sea...... Problem is its always going to be stormy on that terrain (That could get old)

 I wish the water could be changed out on a terrain at will. Much like the color of the sky or clouds..

Is that a can do?

Could the option be built into the CM tools in a drop down menu so CM's could change to any custom water bmp or custom cloud bmp at will when doing a set up?

That could prove to make terrains very dynamic,with moving storm fronts ect ..

Water is not simply a bit map, that parts that are, can already be changed per terrain.

With lighting and sky changes water will already change color.

I  want to be sure I understand....

If I have a water bmp texture that looks like a "rough sea" as shown below, are you saying I can change that out to any other bmp I have created  in the middle of a set up and use it on the same terrain after a terrain has been submitted?  

That's what I was asking if I wasn't clear.
In other words I don't want to be locked into the water texture looking the same at all times. I wish for the ability to change the texture of the water at will, to visually simulate moving weather/wind.

It was my understanding that once a terrain is in use, that the look of the water texture would be constant at all times, and only Cloud bmp's could be swapped out during a set up or after a terrain has been submitted.
 
I understand manipulating color will change the "color" of the water but my focus is on its "texture"  ie the ability to change the texture bmp's to produce the look of a calm sea.. stormy sea etc after a terrain has been submitted  ..

A little off-topic, but other than it's obvious (at least to me) that it's a tile, the visual apeal of the ocean's surface texture has greatly increased in your shots and with your efforts.   :aok

 My wish Would be to make several ocean surface textures as well as cloud bmp's for a terrain and have the ability to swap them out after a terrain has been uploaded to the custom arenas.
similar to the way cloud bmp's can be uploaded and changed now.

 This way if a CM turns up the wind on a set up he could also upload a storm cloud bmp as well as a  new water texture bmp that looks like a stormy sea as I have above.

This would help to simulate a moving weather front adding a new dynamic to setups. Its an eye candy thing but it sure would to the immersion..
