RAIN!!
« on: August 28, 2011, 09:30:31 PM »
Well, more like virga, because it never hit the ground apparently.

wxbrief never said anything about it, and neither did san antonio approach, because I was getting flight following with them.

In this heat I am not surprised it didn't reach the ground.

That's not that rare. I seen stuff that was not foretasted lots of times.

Was it your first time flying in the rain?

:headscratch: That's not the only weather you check when you go flying? Right?

LOL no. That was in response to Karnaks heat comment.

I mentioned in the first post I called wxbrief and got a briefing.

I'd flown in rain before, but it has been more than a couple months since I've seen ANY rain.

Oh, I missed Karnak's post. And thought you posted the picture to prove that weather was not forecaster.  :lol

We only have 2 seasons, summer and winter.  Spring and fall are included in the ~12 days of abnormally cool weather.  :noid

California has 3 seasons, Rain, Fire, and Earthquakes. If you are in Tahoe or Truckee, replace rain with snow.
