Skin Veiwer Request
« on: August 25, 2011, 09:28:02 AM »
I know this is a big request and I most likely won't get it.

I would like it if HTC could make a version of skin viewer that works on Windows NT.  The reason being is that the computer that I use for skinning is running Windows NT, and I don't always have access to the computer that runs Win XP to sample the skin, it would be a huge convinence factor if I could preview the skin on the Win NT computer.

Sorry Dragon, NT support was dropped by MICROSOFT 6 years ago. I don't forsee a smaller coding team making the effort to port over to a new OS structure for such a small potential return. I know I wouldn't consider it myself.

I'm basically here to lower the 39th's score :P

I would love to upgrade my operating system to Win XP on my skinning computer but for some reason, it doesn't recognize it's own disk drives.

You do realize DirectX 9 will not run on Windows NT?  DirectX 9 is required, as a minimum to run anything related to Aces High.

The last supported version of DirectX that would run on Windows NT is DirectX 5.

I do realize that, I didn't think that this request was going to get very far, but I figured why not give it a try.

I'm sure that I will eventually get the disk drives working again, and then I will be able to install windows XP and not have to ask stupid questions like this.
